Room was musty. My husband’s allergies went through the roof. Restaurants were delicious and priced well. Pizza was perfection. Both restaurants decorated beautifully and the staff were so friendly! No breakfast restaurant option other than a small market with coffees, bagels, and burritos that were as hot as Hawaiian lava! The overnight oats and yogurt was yummy. Pool water was freezing and unfortunately the hot tub was over run with young children the entire week. Definitely rent a car! There are no Ubers that far north and nothing is walking distance. Fitness center was sufficient and tennis pro, Mary was a doll! We were in love with Kauai and Hanalei Bay Resort. The views were incredible and the resort staff was great. We stayed for 2 nights during our honeymoon since we split our stay up with 3 other locations while visiting Hawaii and this one was by far my favorite due to location and the resort amenities. Everyone was so friendly and we were very close to Princeville and Hanalei. The property was beautiful and our room was clean. Just as pictured. I hope to come back one day. The resort did allow us to pay a small fee to stay and hangout on the property after checkout with access to the pool, beach, courts, hospitality room, bathroom, shower, restaurant/bar while we waited for our evening flight which was awesome and worth the price to hangout that day instead of leaving after checkout. Only complaint is washer dryer access is not free, you had to pay for each one in quarters and we did not realize this until late one night while trying to wash laundry. Not an issue just inconvenient.
