"This place was so cool! Truly made our vacation feel like “Hawaii”. The hosts even dropped off fresh picked bananas! Great location for beach, town, etc! And the views were spectacular! Would definitely come again!!"

"Rooms were clean, nice beds, no house keeping which was fine. Awesome pool. My biggest complaint was that the restaurant and bar opened at 3pm daily and was completely closed on Tuesday. There are lots of vacation rentals in the area the restaurants on the property need to be open, there are not enough restaurants nearby."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family was lucky enough to stay at Aunt Lydia’s to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday. While some may consider it to be “dated” we find it charming and very comfortable to stay at. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. If you are a simple traveler and enjoy walking to the beach with your coffee for sunrise or special drink at sunset this house is a good fit. It’s a perfect house if you prefer location and simplicity over fussy luxury. On rainier mornings and afternoons you can stay inside and stare at the waterfalls on the mountain side. The bedrooms stay very cool at night and the bonus of having a washer and dryer to clean towels mid week was a huge plus. We will always choose this house when our travels take us to Kauai."

Loved the outdoor shower and the layout was very comfortable for the 4 of us."

"We had a great time at the Tiki house. It has a bit of a Pirates in the Caribbean vibe, it is very well appointed (including a coffee grinder which we very much appreciated) and the host implemented many environmentally friendly features (like the local Menehune water so no plastic bottles are used etc). The host was very attentive and responded promptly."

"The best part was how close the house is to the beach! It has a large living space and kitchen and lots of fans provided. Bedrooms are small but have AC. The beach equipment at the house needs to be replaced but otherwise we loved our stay. Nothing better than Hanalei Bay!"
