(160 reviews) The room was clean and the staff were nice and friendly, which is pretty standard for most hotels in Vietnam. The main reason we returned to this hotel was its location—just about six blocks from Bến Thành Market. However, make sure to bring your own shampoo and shower products because the ones provided were very low quality, with almost no bubbles and barely any scent. Breakfast was free but had very limited selections. We booked a Junior Suite for $156 a night, and the front desk gave us two drink vouchers. When we tried to use them at the restaurant, the waitress told us they only covered sodas, and none of the other drinks on the menu were included. It made us feel a bit cheap. We weren’t asking for anything free, but with such strict limitations, it would have been better if they didn’t offer the vouchers at all. For $156 a night, there are definitely better options in the same area. (1,020 reviews) The hotel was amazing overall! A bit old, but super nice rooms. The vent was peeling a bit, and some crumbs of something (drywall or wood?) fell out into my glass and table. A bit gross. Outdoor shower in the balcony was awesome!! The gym, however, was not what it looked like in the pictures at all. There is NO SMITH MACHINE. Barely enough room for two people, really underwhelming and catfished me in the photos, as the gym facilities is a big factor for me when deciding on a hotel to stay at. Staff were so super nice, and breakfast buffet was amazing! If gym’s not important to you, you’ll like it.
