"Water supply to the room was very limited and weak. You had to hold the shower knob for a good while to allow water to travel up the pipe and have enough back pressure to keep the shower on. When any other water (sink, toilet, etc) was turned on , shower stopped. Only enough water for one usage source. Toilet would not flush , without opening tank and manually pushing down on mechanism inside. Mildew was severe around base of toilet, shower grout and tile grout in spots on bathroom floor. Hallway outside the room , carpet had been soaked by something and entire hallway smelled moldy. Carpets are vintage , likely a decade old .. very bad shape in all common areas , dirty black appearing almost like they had been used on a city sidewalk . Inside the room carpet was similarly old, not quite as worn. The AC would not drop the room temp below 23C. Sheets and linens were clean , towels were frayed old but clean. Walls had water stains and marks throughout the hotel. This was once a fantastic place, palatial and nice , across the street from the airport. (Easy 5 mins walk). Included breakfast buffet was good, selections were limited compared to previous years but food was well prepared. Coffee like Folgers or Maxwell House.. but worked. I really hate to say but we won’t stay again .. and we’ve been in and out a few times over the last 25 years. The staff were attentive and helpful, and doing what they could to serve."
