"This is an unusual property but near perfect.The maintenance of the plants is an endless project and the results show off the hard work.Due to carnival we had trouble checking in but after finding out that reason for all the communication problems was celebrating carnival all was forgiven everyone loves a party.The big problem for me was the near nonexistent WiFi service you have to be a maximum of 15 feet away from router to get service. No service by the pool or the bed room. On the bright side it forced me to relax instead of work. We solved the mosquito problem by making sure the bathroom door to the bedroom remained closed the entire stay. The reviews on the open air bath were not clear in my opinion. The outdoor shower and toilet have a roof on it but one wall is completely open to a 8’x12’ area filled with potted plants.It looks great but it needs a little retaining wall to prevent the rain from coming on the bathroom floor.It is a real wake up call stepping in a small puddle of water in the middle of the night. I like to know everything about the rentals before I go so I can decide if something is a deal breaker for me.I would rent this house again and will have great memories and some stories to share with others."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Sol Cottage Villa! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and attention to detail went into every aspect of the home. Our host, JP, was outstanding — incredibly responsive, warm, and thoughtful. He had everything ready for us, and his local insights made our trip even more special. The villa itself is beautifully maintained — spotless, stylish, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The outdoor shower was such a treat, and the private pool surrounded by lush greenery gave us the perfect balance of island serenity and modern comfort. We especially appreciated the little touches — from the welcome items to the well-labeled amenities — that made settling in effortless. Sol Cottage is tucked into a peaceful area of Fish Bay, just a short drive to Cruz Bay and the beaches, which gave us the best of both worlds: total privacy and quick access to everything we wanted to explore.We’re already dreaming about our return. Huge thanks to JP for being such a thoughtful and attentive host. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality St. John experience, this is the place!"

"Calichi Point has been on my places to stay for many years and we finally decided to book our trip to St. John and our stay. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend staying here! The drive up (and down) is on some very windy roads but the view is breathtaking and the privacy can't be beat! With 75% of the island being a National Park, we took advantage of some hiking that led us to some pretty amazing beaches!! Dining is quite limited so plan to stock up on groceries and enjoy eating on your patio each day! We packed lunches on the days we hiked. We also enjoyed a couple massage on our balcony one afternoon which I highly recommend...the breeze and nature can't be beat! Our trip to St. John and especially our stay at Calichi Point met and exceeded all of our expectations! We will be back!! Our host was great with communicating with us prior to our arrival and were available for any questions we may have had. "

"We absolutely adored our stay at the Peter Bay Gatehouse, Penthouse! It was one of the best places we’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The location was simply stunning, with easy access to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. The view from the penthouse was breathtaking, and we never wanted to leave because of its breathtaking beauty. We’re already looking forward to our next stay here in the future!"
