It's a hotel that you only ever dream of staying at !! The service is impeccable, the rooms unique and well appointed and the food in restaurant is delicious! Take advantage of the breakfast served in room... you will not be disappointed !! Ravello is a wonderful town to walk around in The pictures ...
The property was beautiful and maybe it was a language barrier issue but we didn’t realize that right out side we could take the city bus down to the city area in Amalfi. Maybe the staff should understand that we are tourist and that we don’t realize how or that the town is so close would have made ...
Our bedroom was an economy double and was small. It was at the back of the hotel away from the noisy road but unfortunately had a bank of air conditioning units underneath our window and if they were all running, it was very loud and meant we could not have the window open. Staff were excellent. ...
Amazing view, great pool, lovely bar and fantastic restaurant. The shower was a Jacuzzi, kind of weird but kind of fun too.
Wonderful stay, excellent staff. Highly recommended.

The Roman Villa in Minori is a stunning example of classical architecture and offers a glimpse into life for Italian aristocracy in the first century A.D. Stay in the village of Minori to be close to the Roman Villa, in stylishly decorated hotels with balconies overlooking the Mediterranean. Choose from the many three- and four-star hotels within a mile of the Roman Villa. Or stay in the B&Bs and villas, five-star resorts or boutique hotels in nearby Ravello and Maiori or along the coast in Amalfi.
Wander through the expansive grounds of the Roman Villa and see how the house has been beautifully preserved through 2,000 years of history. The historical sight is free to enter and covers around 8,000 square feet of the Minori Valley. The sizable complex was discovered in the 1930s after houses built above it collapsed, revealing the villa’s underground chamber.
You can still see the layout of the villa from above. Look for the viridarium, the area with an open-air swimming pool that formed the centre of the villa. Spreading out from this are several bedrooms and a garden lined with an arched portico.
As you look at the Roman Villa, you get an understanding of what life was like for the rich residents of the Amalfi Coast in the Roman era – look out for the apodyterium, a dressing room, where you can still spot a marble threshold at the doorway.
Head to the Roman Villa and take your time to spot artistic details that have survived the centuries. Start in the annex, where you can see Roman paintings, then look out for murals as you explore the grounds of the ancient townhouse.
Mosaics in the tepidarium, or warm room, are similar to those in the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, from the Imperial Age. Explore the antiquarium to see a collection of archaeological pottery, including amphorae (a type of jar) and tableware.
