Very beautiful and charming place to stay. Was exceptionally clean and in a great location (be prepared to climb), but it is worth it! Very quiet with nice views, and walkable to the main area of town.
The view around this property is peacefully, the way you can see the mountains and the same time the sea is breathtaking, you can relax looking your surroundings, I totally recommend this place.
The view is breathtaking! Staff is very friendly and helpful, made for such a wonderful vacation!

The best service we’ve had in 30 years of travel. The staff and owners make every effort to make your stay perfect and they accommodate your every need as if you were family.
A special mention to Gino, who went above and beyond, from sun rise to sun set, treating us like royalty with a smile every time. You made our experience so wonderful and you are truly the best we ever had. Thanks so much!!
Our stay was excellent, breakfast was delicious. The only one thing I should mention , there is a stair to the property, we enjoyed this activity, but if you have knee problems it might be an issue. Overall it’s a wonderful bed&breakfast property. Gino is the best!
Gino and Maria were extremely nice, they make you feel like family, he help us with the suitcases all the way up to the stairs and at the checkout he did the same, also breakfast was excellent!!! And oh I forgot to mention the room were very clean.
What a charming wonderful place to stay! Beautiful views, so clean, welcoming. Gino was amazing helping us with parking and carrying our bags up all the stairs. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Would absolutely stay here again!
Breakfast was amazing. The views were spectacular. The owners went above and beyond to help my daughters carry their luggage and help us park our car. I would highly recommend this place unless you have problems with walking up stairs.
Our room was spotless and comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our stay. We couldn’t find the hotel because the address was incorrect and our host came to meet us and carried ALL of our bags up to our room (that’s a big deal in Amalfi with all of the stairs). Breakfast was fantastic and the view from the terrace where breakfast was served was beyond spectacular. We highly recommend staying here!!
Totally awesome, the location was just passed all the more loud section of the tourist area, very quiet and Gino our service manager was fantastic, breakfast was great, but...there are 156 foot steps to get to your room. (I counted them) so you'll get a workout, but beside this lower inconvenience, the experience is top notch.
The room was perfect for our time in Amalfi, the gentlemen that helped us with our bags and served breakfast was so kind and helpful. The host helped arrange parking and even dinner reservations. The stairs to the property are no joke but they helped with the bags which made it better and the view makes it all worth it! Thank you!
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious. I think that they have their own vegetables and fruits. The food was organic, fresh. The rooms were super clean. There was cold water in the fridge for us. The guy who met us, helped us with the luggages through the stairs and gave us a little present at the check-out. The view is nice and the air clean.
The only con we found was that there are lots of stairs to the place and I don't recommend to have big luggages but I believe more of the properties have stairs because of way how Amalfi is build up.
It’s almost impossible to pass on the full experience of this place. WAY above the hustle of Amalfi is a tiny paradise where the tourists almost never go. Go.
As others have said, Gino is incomparable. Even without such friendly service and luggage lugging etc, our stay was well worth it. The service just made the experience wonderful.
Amalfi is super touristy but we knew that. We wouldn’t change what we did for the world, though. We rented a scooter and drove all over the place one day. Highly recommended.
Amalfi is basically a single steep road that runs up the valley and the main road that connects the entire coast. High up on that road is a staircase. 185 stairs (we counted) gets you to a heaven of peace, lemon farms and views you cannot get otherwise. It might sound intimidating but it is not. You can do this and should.
The pics barely pass on the experience but they help. We knew we were somewhere super cool when, on the first morning, we passed the burros dragging carts to bring laundry up the steps.
Just say yes.
Note: We took the ferry from Naples. It was great. The ferries are fantastic. Take the ferries.
Once past the steps to the hotel, which were not that bad, really, Everything about La Valle Delle Ferriere was idyllic. Gino is incredibly efficient and thoughtful regarding the check in and out. He also makes a wonderful breakfast that is served on the terrace, daily. Vincenzo showed us the terraced gardens and all of the food that is grown and used on property. He also recommended the hike up into the mountains where we stopped for lunch and homemade Prosecco. The property is away from the town which makes it a gem for early morning and evening sit outs on the balcony. Would return here, undoubtedly, as it exuded that pure Amalfi vibe we were looking for. Have already recommended it to our friends. The hike up to and the stairs are worth it for sure.
Lina and Luigi were absolutely amazing hosts! We arrived at 2pm on a day that had a real feel of 105 degrees F drenched in sweat from head to toe and we were quickly given water, brought to our room with wonderful AC, and given a small lemon ice treat to cool off. There were about 195 steps (we counted) up to the property which was quite challenging with luggage, but we were able to coordinate with Luigi. and he stacked four suitcases on his shoulders and carried up most of our stuff! The breakfast was absolutely amazing both in taste and atmosphere. It was cooked by Lina herself and served on a beautiful terrace with a stunning view. The cappuccino was one of my favorite in Italy, and the savory meal consisted of a variety of local favorites. Despite the stairs, I would absolutely recommend La Valle Delle Ferrierre for a stay in Amalfi. Amazing location, views, rooms, food, hospitality, and atmosphere :)
Absolutely Excellent. The apartment is spacious and well equipped for a short stay. Comfy beds and air con made for a good sleep. Nice balcony with both ocean and mountain views.
Wonderful bathroom.
Communication before we arrived was excellent with a seamless meet and greet.
We were late arriving on the afternoon ferry but the owner kept in touch and Gino met us at the apartment to carry our bags up the 200 steps to the apartment!
Fantastic hosts and Gino is so helpful.
We enjoyed a breakfast prepared by him on our first day, sat enhoying the view on the spacious terrace.
Location is excellent, 10mins easy stroll to the town where you will find an abundance of cafes, shops restaurants etc.
A wonderful visit.
...
The 200 steps up to the apartment are a challenge. Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues.
Our stay was very lovely! Gino greeted us below and carried our bags up the stairs.
After showing us to our room, Gino provided us with a welcome treat—-a pitcher or lemonade and a bottle of water. He took the time to explain how to order breakfast using the laminated menu that was to be hung on the door in preparation for the next morning. Our room had a safe and a refrigerator.
There was always a staff member available via WhatsApp to answer questions in a timely manner. It is through WhatsApp that I was able to make a request for a taxi to pick us up from the airport and bring us to the airport (for a fee).
Overall, our stay was very pleasant!! Just be mindful that there are a significant amount of stairs to climb to arrive at the bed and breakfast. That was the only downside about our stay.
Super nice place to stay at. Cannot beat the view and the peaceful area. Multiple terraces to sit at and the breakfast was amazing. Gino is the greatest of all time - treats you like family.
The view is amazing. You can see a big beautiful mountain right in front you from balcony and the breakfast terrace. The breakfast is good. The staffs are very Friendly. A gentleman usually carries your luggages for you both ways.
There is a 10 minutes uphill walking. I personally liked it.
