"We tried to enjoy this stay as much as we could but it was difficult considering we were on a construction site. The strong paint smell upon entering the unit and the loud hammering and drilling woke us up multiple times from our sleep and led to many other unpleasant moments. The property is quite far from any grocery store or decent restaurants but thankfully bikes were provided which was a nice touch. "Room was on the 6th floor. Weren’t told the correct lift at first so got a little lost . Had to go back to reception and were given correct instructions to find the room. Exceptionally hot during stay but air con in room was excellent thankfully. Very good location - next to Central Station and close to centre. Dam Square 10-15 min walk, Ann Frank House 25 min walk. Security in hotel very good - bar area very pleasant and reasonably priced . Towels were’nt the best quality- very thin and not generous in size. A non slip mat to use in the shower would be useful as I nearly slipped a couple of times Communal areas could have been cleaner dirt on the stairs remained for the duration of my stay and used food containers left outside rooms for a couple of days. . Overall staff friendly and helpful - a good budget hotel at a decent price . Would use again for convenience ."
