"We initially stayed for a couple of nights. Our room didn’t have a door to the bathroom, just a curtain, which I didn’t like. We had a different room the second time we stayed (after an overnight cruise at Ha Long Bay) which did have a bathroom door so I would recommend putting in a request for a room with bathroom door if you like privacy. Overall a great hotel though, and good location. Breakfast options were great and we also had dinner one night which was also very good. Special mention to Grace on reception as she was extremely welcoming when we arrived, very helpful, and gave us some tips on what to do while we were in Hanoi. 10/10 service from Grace. Other staff members were also very friendly and I could not fault their service."

"The staff was super helpful a friendly, and the rooms were clean & had great air conditioning. They did our laundry with one day turnaround and it was folded so nicely! Breakfast was great, and the location is good for walking or taking a short grab to major areas."

"A beautiful new hotel right in the heart of the old quarter and close to restaurants and train street! Rose and Thomas (managers of the hotel) are incredible and looked after us like family. The spa and onsen are amazing and definitely recommend visiting, you will have the onsen to yourself!! Don’t hesitate in booking this gorgeous hotel, it won’t disappoint!"

"Even though the hotel is small with limited facilities and lobby space - the staff is super courteous and helpful. They did their best and ensured us comfort in all aspects. I would rate them high and would love to go back and stay in this property again"

"Great for the price! Budget hotel I used for a few hours to take a rest and clean up. I'd stay here as opposed to places that are double the price or more if you just want to get some rest. Bed was pretty hard though. Everything else was fine."

"The staff were so friendly and helpful. As first time travellers to Vietnam they made it easy to feel comfortable right from the moment we walked in. The doorman even spoke a little Maori, not something we expected to hear so far from home and it really drove home the fact that the staff here go to great lengths to make their guests' stay as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Our room was clean, the breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Everything overall was perfect, we loved our stay here. Thanks so much, we will be right back to Solaria as soon as we can return to Vietnam. "
