Awesome Location with Beautiful Yard

It was a great place with an amazing location. To get to a lot of great stuff is only a 10-minute walk. It was wonderful for our large group.

Lovely restful home with great outdoor soace

Great location, nice amenities. Really happy to have all the windows fitted with functioning window screens. Walking distance to the beaches, restaurants, and tour groups.

We had a lovely stay at this house on Vieques! The property was well equipped and clean. The kids loved roaming the backyard and learning about the mango and cashew trees. We easily walked to our bio bay tour meeting spot and down to restaurants on the beach. One thing to note - the fourth bedroom and second bathroom are actually detached in a small casita right behind the house. It was so so nice!

We loved staying here! We arrived late at night, and although unfamiliar, we were able to get into the property with no problems. The beach and "strip" were within walking distance and we felt safe in the quiet town. It was incredible to see horses everywhere (chickens and roosters too!). The yard was very pleasant with beautiful flowers all around. We enjoyed the bioluminescence tour nearby. Overall, a great adventure and a pleasant stay. Thank you!

Perfect Location

We are a family of six and needed a night's stay as we booked the 9:30 pm bioluminescent kayak tour. This home was one of the cleanest I stayed in, was well stocked with supplies and a great location! Everything was accurately described on vrbo. Great communication from the host!!

Perfect for our family

This property was perfect for our family and we had no problems. The location was excellent for almost all of our activities on our short trip. Loved the horses running free on the island and right outside the gate. Host was very communicative. Just wish we stayed longer.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, my family and I were prevented from getting to Vieques at the last minute, and therefore we could not take advantage of the Purple Sunset. We were fully prepared to pay for both nights of our stay, even though we never actually made it to the rental. But in a display of true generosity, Hao refunded one of our nights, even though he wasn’t obligated to! So considerate of our circumstances, Hao deserves a five-star rating all around!! Will surely make it to the Purple Sunset when we return.

This is a lovely home to stay in! The location is excellent—close to the beaches, restaurants/kiosks, and store in Esperanza, and a quick drive to the ferry terminal. It also turned out to be the perfect location to stay for our Mosquito Bay kayaking expedition. There is easy parking on the property in what seems to be a quiet neighborhood.The house is very cute inside and out, with nice updates. The rooms were all nice and clean, and well outfitted. It was extra nice to have the washer and dryer after all the water and beach time!The host was communicative and super helpful with great recommendations for our time on the island! Thanks for the great stay—wish we could have stayed longer!
