Find hotels in Vidal, CA from £59

The best time to go to Vidal is during the cooler, drier months, typically from late autumn through to early spring, which is November to April.

During these months, you'll experience pleasant daytime temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the desert landscape and enjoying outdoor activities. The air is generally clear, and there's less chance of the intense heat that characterises the summer. This period is great for couples or solo travellers looking for a tranquil desert escape without the discomfort of extreme temperatures.

Conversely, the summer months, from May to October, bring very high temperatures, often exceeding 40°C (104°F). While some might find this appealing for a quiet, secluded stay with air-conditioned comfort, outdoor activities become challenging and potentially hazardous.
