"First room (101- pet friendly) was quite disgusting. The smell of cigars/cigarettes and body odor knocked you over as you open the door. . 2nd room was better. But not very clean. The floors were only swept but had not been washed properly. Splatters all over walls and the door frame int the bathroom desperately needs a wipe down. Needless to say I actually cleaned the room myself. Garbage in hallway was there for several days. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. "

" Office door was locked when we arrived in afternoon. Had to phone to call owner\ manager AC was'nt hooked up. Very large rip on lamp, needs to be replaced, needs to be painted, room smelled. I would not feel safe in this Motel if I was alone. Saw many low income/street like people staying there with dogs, Dog fight one day. The pool was disgusting and would never swim in there, bad scum on it. Advertised with a street sign continental breakfast and room was all locked up using it as storage. When having a shower the only place to put your clean clothes was on the toilet lid which is disgusting. I wore slippers the whole time as I just dont trust they washed floors between guests..The fridge needs to be de-iced! The sidewalk is filthy literally and dog pee on it. We will NEVER go back, I had to get some clean towels and the laundry area wasnt even clean.. The bed was good and slept fine but everything else was not."

"The hotel is updating and renovating which is great, but you do see and hear the construction. We had a room that was dated as the pet friendly rooms have not been renovated yet. Unfortunately it also had ants.....I think it's an issue at this time of the year. Unfortunately because of the long weekend they were not able to get anyone onsite quickly. They did move us to another room and made it all good so it was just a minor inconvenience. The pool and hot tub....we didn't use. The hot tub looked a bit grimy as did the pool. The first thing we noticed was the lack of chlorine smell.....We took a pass. Gym was quiet and had weights and a mat and some machines. I was able to get a work out in. Staff was friendly and doing their absolute best! Breakfast was good and every day offered a different hot selection of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns. It had a 1 minute pancake maker which was a hit! Warm cinnamon buns, toast, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, cereals. There was something for everyone I feel. I love being able to go away with our furry family and this hotel is conveniently situated along the highway, next to grass and a path that we walked the dogs along so they could do their business. It's location is walkable to restaurants and fast food, a superstore (grocery), coffee (Blenz, Starbucks, McDonalds), a mall, Dollar store, bakery and even a pet store! But it's close to the lake and Mountain and lots of hikes which we enjoyed!"

"Enjoyed our stay here! It was super relaxing. The only thing though was we found a mouse in our room the last day and maybe because we had take out in our room. This was bothersome but thankfully on our way to checking out. The complimentary breakfast was so good! Some of the staff were not friendly and seemed rushed with poor customer service skills but that’s more of a comfort thing for us. The beds were really uncomfortable and beautiful views from our room! We loved the tub near the window — it was so relaxing. They also provided us with complimentary bath salt which was a nice surprise. The amenities were great! The spa areas were so good — best spa I have been to. Not a lot of restaurants nearby so the food in the restaurant in the building was expensive and one down the hill from us at the other hotel. Only two walkable restaurants — otherwise have to drive into town (more of a preference thing). Lovely walk around with nice views and nature. Would recommend staying here! "
