It was very well located, right in the heart of the city action. You can walk to every attraction easily. The place has no elevator and the staircase are very steep, so I wouldn’t recommend if you have difficulty getting up the stairs and with your luggages as well. The room was very clean, and there is a cleaning service everyday. The bed was not very comfortable, but it was ok for 2 nights. Greeted by a gentleman with the most welcoming smile. All staff (we met 5 in total)were fabulously friendly and helpful, with great spoken English. The rooms are beautifully clean and smell good. Comfy beds. Location is amazing, 2 mins walk to Rialto bridge and 5mins from st marks square (this is genuine times). Really easy to find with the directions given. The breakfast was worth the 4 euros as it filled a hole, in an expensive area. They’re a few quirks (ie breakfast served in the hallway), but they just add even more to the charm of this hotel. 100% will be back and more than happy to recommend to friends. We had the quadruple room which was ample space to move about and a large bathroom, for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Genuinely can’t find fault! If you take the public water taxi from the train station, the waiting can be up to 45 minutes, one could also walk, however, decided to wait.
