Brilliant location - more of a 3 Star standard.

While the hotels location was brilliant the standard wasn't great. The bed was uncomfortable & standard of furnishings poor. Overall however the hotel worked well for us as we were out and about.

Great location

Posted 17-May-2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Rating guide
Location: The Lido is a great location to be- a very pleasant 10 minute water ride to Venice actually added to the experience.
Although the hotel is well located opposite the water taxi terminal, we found the hotel to be average at best and no more than a 3 star- not the 4 star advertised. Upon check in, we were showed a sub standard room, and then offered an upgrade at 50 Euros which we obviously took- seemed like a well rehearsed stunt. That being said, the hotel and staff were pleasant enough and enjoyed our stay.

great location, good breakfast, recommend it

Posted 16-May-2017
Very happy with the choice of hotel. Staff were friendly, room clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice to offer. Location was excellent, over the road to the water bus terminal with only a 15 min trip to St Mark's Square. On Lido island itself, there are plenty of restaurants, a few shops and the beach is only 15 min walk. Definitely stay here again.

Junior suite room with a view.

Posted 25-Apr-2017
Stayed here from Friday 21/04 until 24/4 & really enjoyed the experience. Very close to the pier for easy transportation by boat to Venice. The hotel staff were very helpful, suggesting a 3 day boat pass, activities, offered upgrade of room, where to eat etc making the whole Venice experience one to remember. The hotel is close to lovely restaurants in the main street of the Lido & spoilt for choice for ice cream. The food & drink prices are cheaper than those in the centre of Venice too.The breakfast is a good & varied continental style of good quality.

Venice Holiday April 2017

Posted 22-Apr-2017
Pros: All the staff. They were very friendly.
Cons: Having a tea making facility in the bedroom.
Location: Lovely location, directly behind the water bus station and plenty of restaurants/cafes to go to during the day/evening if you wish to eat on the Lido.
After a stressful journey due to being diverted on the plane and then having to wait to set off to Venice again the staff at the hotel reception could not have been more helpful. It was after 11 pm and with a young child I was anxious about arriving after midnight. They advised me which route was the quickest and we finally arrived at 12.25 am. The room was very clean and as described when booked. Breakfast is continental but if anything ran out the staff quickly filled everything back up. All reception staff were lovely to my daughter and had a joke about remembering the room number with her as it is a plastic key card which they keep when you go out. Cannot fault the hotel position as it is directly behind the water bus stop so not far to go. Definitely better to stay on the Lido rather than Venice as it is quieter and still plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from in the evening.

Great small hotel

Posted 27-Mar-2017
Pros: Easy access, staff, breakfast. Excellent value for money.
Location: Although the position was really convenient, it was a bit noisy in the mornings if the window was open. Probably needed to get up earlier!
The hotel was very easy to find, being adjacent to the water bus terminal. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. The room was very comfortable and an excellent breakfast.

Lovely hotel on the lido

Posted 21-Mar-2017
Fab hotel, friendly, helpful, and efficient staff. Lovely views, and good local restaurants. Bit noisy close to the vaporetti station, but, not enough to spoil the experience. Having stayed in central Venice previously this lovely hotel and it's location added another dimension.

An excellent base from which to explore.

We visited Venice in March 2017 for a four days break. We stayed at the Panorama Hotel as it was excellent value This is a very comfortable hotel situated close to the waterbus stop on Lido. It is a short walk to the Lido Beach, close to several restaurants and about 8 -10 minutes across to St Marks by waterbus. We upgraded our room to one with a Jacuzzi bath and an enormous bed in a fairly large room. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was a continental one with plenty of choice. There was a terrace on the first floor overlooking the lagoon although it was too chilly for us to use of an evening so for we used the combined breakfast room and bar for drinks before and after dinner which we took either on Lido or popped across to Venice Island. We used the waterbus to get us from the airport and it takes an hour. We also visited the Island of Burano and Torchello catching the waterbus from outside the hotel and changing on Venice
