We were met by a really lovely guy on reception who we unfortunately never got the name of. There were many restaurants and supermarkets around. The hotel seemed it was renovated not long ago. Gives vintage vibe. It’s only stairs no lift that was not a problem. The staff were friendly the check in was great. We even got one of the rooms upgraded. The Rialto Bridge is steps away as are the water buses. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants. The reception is small but adequate. The room was a good size and lovely and warm when I arrived. It was quite chilly in the city at that time. Extra blankets were also provided. The bathroom had a lovely waterfall shower. There was a fridge and safe in the room which was nice and an open rail with hangers to hang your clothes. The issue we had were the fact that it’s extremely noisy. There is a door to the hallway that separated the main area that was kept open for some reason so we could hear all the commotion in the main hallway until 3-4am. It wasn’t quiet until I shut the door the next night and was able to get some sleep. Also, the shower was barely big enough for an adult. The water had to be shut off to lather up because your head is under the shower head no matter how you stand in there. Aside from those two things, the room was decent overall. The bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. The location was great but difficult to find at first.
