Hotel room was beyond my expectations - what an incredible view from the bedroom window as well! Jetted tub and rainfall shower were highlights. I could imagine this as a cosy get away in the winter where the fire place would add to the ambience (definitely not needed for my summer stay). Stayed at the Coast Bastion Hotel and it was lovely. Check in was easy, staff were friendly. Parking is available and cost $9. I asked for a few extra things later and they were provided no problem, Robes in the room which I love. The sliders instead of slippers were ok for me but didn’t fit my husband. Our room was a very comfortable suite with a separate bedroom and a queen bed in the lounge area which suited our family. The kitchenette was compact but had very useful items in it. The hotel is on the main road into downtown Victoria and there are lots of buses going both ways which was excellent.
