Sattui story as you taste generations of winemaking expertise. Vittorio Sattui began the winery in 1885 after emigrating from Italy, but ceased operations during the prohibition era. His great-grandson, Dario Sattui, took over the reigns in 1976 and today the story continues in St. Helena and Castello de Amorosa.
Visit the on-site Artisan Deli and Marketplace to pick from a wide range of delectable produce for your picnic. Dotted throughout the estate are picnic tables shaded by valley oak trees. Pair your favourite V. Sattui wines with tasty deli creations as you look out over the gardens and vineyards. In the warmer months, weekend barbecues serve up freshly grilled delights and wood-fired pizzas.
The V. Sattui Winery is situated on a spacious 38-acre (15-hectare) estate in St. Helena in the heart of the Napa Valley winery region. Visit the winery any day of the week and enjoy an indulgent culinary experience. For a charge, you can taste up to six of the winery’s vintage and estate wines. Advance reservations are not required, but you can book online to ensure a laid-back winery experience at your preferred time. The winery is a favoured stop on the Napa Valley Wine Train.
