The Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas is one of my favorite hotels anywhere in the world. This is the definition of class - elegant but understated and friendly. The Melrose is a bit of Old World beauty right here in the States. I only hope they never change too much.
And guys, if you really want to impress a woman take her to the Library Bar for a drink and conversation. You'll see what I mean.
Was contemplating staying at the Hotel ZaZa. Picked the Stoneleigh and glad we did. Initially planned to stay two days, but extended for another night. Hotel stay and accommodations are excellent. In the heart of Uptown. You can walk to bars and restaurants easily. Or take a cab...close to the American Airlines center as well.
I enjoyed the shuttle service option!
The room was nicely laid out & appointed, clean and large.
Staff was friendly and helpful.
The location was easy to access several areas to visit & enjoy Dallas, for business or pleasure.
Hotel was amazing as far as look, feel, and staff. The staff goes way above and beyond to make you feel like a king! The only gripe I have is the room stayed hot most of the night.. Even after I adjuster the air it was still hot and with very quiet a/c it was hard to sleep as you hear everything that goes on in the hotel.. Would have been nice to have a fan or some sort of noise..
Traveller from Dallas Texas
This hotel is in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas, a half-mile from Victory Park, the Arts District, and American Airline …More
The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was eccellent, very friendly and responsive. Very convenient for the American Airline Center, but not much else around it.
It was expensive, but did not dissappoint.
Surprisingly enjoyed my stay at this location. The outside doesn't do justice to the renovations that have been done here. Close to local attractions, friendly staff, and spacious room. On the down side, walls are paper thin so you can hear everything... (I do mean everything), and next to busy street and Denny's so parking was limited especially after a night out. Overall would come again...maybe just request a corner unit!
With its proximity to the Arts District and downtown's white-collar firms, the creative set congregate in Uptown and Oak Lawn. This leafy area is a mix of high-rises, single-family homes, and commercial districts. The intersection of Cedar Springs and Throckmorton is the heart of the city's gay community. Uptown has the American Airlines Center, home to the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars.
