Set in beautiful, private gardens opening on to the lake, and very close to Konstanz old town. Large rooms newly fitted out to a very high standard and the pool is equally good. The staff were excellent - very welcoming. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel set on an estate, which has a family history of being run as far back as grandparents of current owner. There is a genuine wish on the part of the owner to ensure any problems you have, are resolved. He did that for us on this visit. The hotel has so much character and is very comfortable

An amazing hotel, clean fresh and spacious. Great views over the lake and the spa was excellent. Restaurant was great with excellent quality, staff, value and again lovely views. Room was spacious and quiet. I really was massively impressed and would certainly stay again for longer!

The Jufa is a relatively simple traditional hotel situated at the top of a hill which probably helped with cooling breezes in the summer. because of its location it is an easy walk to through bus routes as well as the circular bus to the harbour. handily the tourist office is very near by. it is an easy 15 minute walk down to the harbour, uphill on the way back. the bedroom and bathroom were clean and neat with plenty of plug sockets in the former and with good wardrobe space. there are...

Hotel-Gasthof Storchen was a great base for our trip to the area. Great welcome, friendly hosts. Rooms spotless and restaurant and breakfast food great with a wide choice. We will be back.

Excellent friendly staff that are polite and very helpful, any questions I had were answered quickly and comprehensively. For your information, for the local tourist hotel tax you are required to pay you are entitled to a BODO card which gives you free travel on most buses and trains over a huge area. The public transport system is excellent and the hotel is just a short walk from the main bus and train station. Room was clean and functional; hotel very close to railway station, easily walked with suitcase. Automated check-in was easy on a machine in entrance (entrance is a side door to left of hotel front) - you need a passport number for checkin, but be warned no actual human at hotel reception. A little noisy initially from other guests, although I was in bed early - was quiet during night. Nothing special, but room clean and tidy and recently renovated by looks. A lovely stay

Smashing place. Such friendly staff. A short walk from the station - easy to drag suitcases. Good sized rooms. Received a voucher for a free drink each at their partner hotel in the next road. The bells were in evidence from the local churches - but it was Saturday evening. Not nearly as bad a noise as i was expecting from other reviews. Didn't ring through the night! Plentiful breakfast.
