Generally a nice place to to stay. The evening meal was excellent, but unfortunately that was not the same for breakfast, most definitely the "worst" full english breakfast i have ever had, dont know how they had the audacity to serve it up!!! Will not be returning.

Amazing place. Highly suggest staying here.

Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.

The staff service was exceptional at this hotel, the friendly and attentiveness of the employees really made this a wonderful break away. The room was ideal in a pet friendly room it was not luxurious but adequate and suited our visit. The food was wonderful and we felt treated from arriving to departure. I would recommend this hotel it can not be faltering delivery.

Room 4 was a delight to stay in also the Bed was so comfortable décor was also very good Well Done!!!

Loved this place, very welcoming, excellent and attentive service with a bit of humour thrown in! Super rooms which were spotless and well maintained. Very generous vegetarian breakfast which was very tasty! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic overnight, it was a wonderful stay with very very friendly and helpful hosts. Absolutely would come again!

Recently refurbished and renovated as a chic bistro winebar and luxury accomodation - throughly enjoyed staying here; would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone - steep stairs to top most floor owing to the age of the building - only negative point .

Stayed here for one night in Room 5 (I think) As I was driving back from a festival in Dorset, I kept in touch with the hotel staff about my arrival and all was fine when I arrived about 7pm. There’s no private parking. Street parking only, but at least it was right in front of the house and free. The owner showed me around the B&B, the bedroom and the separate shared bathroom. Breakfast was very good, much better than other Champneys hotels we have stayed at. Room was nice but the TV unfortunately kept cutting out. Really friendly and helpful staff, and a luxury feel.

Perfect in every way.

It was very fantastic, I have known kevin since i started my shifts in stoke-on-trent. Very Gentlemen and warm as always. the room is very clean and very large as I didn't expect it. (the room I reserved) room was so warm and bed is new, I should say all is new from floor to ceiling. I am definitely giving them 10/10 for my stay. and will be booking for more after my first stay. _-S.Usman

Great hotel good location

Staff were extremely friendly, and my dinner the evening I arrived was delicious. I don't eat breakfast but the coffee was good. The setting of this place is just beautiful, I was sad to only be staying the one night.
