"Walking into the room we were hit with a very strong air freshener smell. It was strong enough to spark a headache and was possibly so strong to cover up a hint of cigerette smoke. The air conditioner was not working properly-had to keep turning it off wait a few minutes to turn it back on. The bathroom door wouldn't shut but the worst thing ? THE FIRE ALARM STARTED GOING OFF AROUND MIDNIGHT AND KEPT GOING OFF!!! We made it down from the 7th floor, Firetrucks showed up and gave the all clear-only 2 of 3 elevators were working so we walked back up to the 7th floor. Settled back into bed and THE SMOKE ALARM STARTED AGAIN!! We waited it kept randomly going off so we packed up all our stuff and left. I feel we should be reimbursed from the hotel because this ruined our nieces graduation weekend memories as we didn't get to celebrate Sunday with family."

"We liked everything about The Boulevard Inn. The location was excellent. We enjoyed being able to walk to Cary Town as well as several outstanding museums in the area. The Inn is located in the neighborhood of many beautiful older homes which we found to be very interesting as we explored this part of historic Richmond. The staff at the Inn were extremely friendly and helpful providing information about the neighborhood. The breakfast was wonderful as well as unique each day. You could tell that everything that was served was fresh as well as delicious. Our room was not only clean and spacious with every convenience available for our comfort. It was also charming and welcoming. We definitely recommend The Boulevard Inn for your next stay in Richmond, VA"

"Great location, easy in and out, and clean. It is in the Fan district so it is an old track style home, I think that adds a lot of charm. Where the charm stopped for us is in the quality of furniture, mattress and seating. Mattress was awful, couch is a college dorm couch with equally bad support and there are not any other comfortable seats in the home. "

"Great stay in Carytown! So close to shops and restaurants and house was clean with plenty of room. Any questions we had were answered right away and house was perfect for our trip! There were just two of us but our two teenagers could have easily stayed with plenty of room too! Will definitely stay again!!"

"House is amazing! Wonderful location, close to my daughter’s event, walking distance to great coffee shops and restaurants. Everything was perfect for our weekend We loved going to bird park. It’s just a block away in his great views and walking trails. The host was phenomenal. He responded right away and helped us out immediately. I would definitely come back there and recommend staying here. All the beds were comfortable and clean "
