"Walking into the room we were hit with a very strong air freshener smell. It was strong enough to spark a headache and was possibly so strong to cover up a hint of cigerette smoke. The air conditioner was not working properly-had to keep turning it off wait a few minutes to turn it back on. The bathroom door wouldn't shut but the worst thing ? THE FIRE ALARM STARTED GOING OFF AROUND MIDNIGHT AND KEPT GOING OFF!!! We made it down from the 7th floor, Firetrucks showed up and gave the all clear-only 2 of 3 elevators were working so we walked back up to the 7th floor. Settled back into bed and THE SMOKE ALARM STARTED AGAIN!! We waited it kept randomly going off so we packed up all our stuff and left. I feel we should be reimbursed from the hotel because this ruined our nieces graduation weekend memories as we didn't get to celebrate Sunday with family."

"Everything you need. The area was a lively yet quiet part of the city, close to everything. The hotel was very comfortable and well-appointed. The staff was very attentive. and the room had an excellent view. I felt very well cared for. I will stay here again in the future."

"For your own sake, do not even bother attempting to stay in hermitage. I pulled in late night for a quick sleep and head out early morning. On arrival bldg lobby was dimly lit. No cars in parking lot, a few homeless people outside. Clear to me that this hotel was a shelter of sorts. I left after no answer and suspicious looks from some of the residents. 3 cars in parking lot of a bldg allegedly close to sold out. Please hotels.com , do even a little bit of homework before offering this to your clients. We deserve at least that. I booked another hotel at twice the price and will happily eat the cost of hermitage. I love to save a dime, but if my adult daughters were there I’d ask for a “I’m ok” communique in am"

"We liked everything about The Boulevard Inn. The location was excellent. We enjoyed being able to walk to Cary Town as well as several outstanding museums in the area. The Inn is located in the neighborhood of many beautiful older homes which we found to be very interesting as we explored this part of historic Richmond. The staff at the Inn were extremely friendly and helpful providing information about the neighborhood. The breakfast was wonderful as well as unique each day. You could tell that everything that was served was fresh as well as delicious. Our room was not only clean and spacious with every convenience available for our comfort. It was also charming and welcoming. We definitely recommend The Boulevard Inn for your next stay in Richmond, VA"

"My daughter and I were in Richmond for 4 days to visit my son. The apartment was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very gracious. Hasan happened to be there when we arrived and helped to unload our luggage! We felt very secure in the house and in the beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to the VA Museum of Fine Arts and many restaurants and shops. The beautiful Monument Avenue is just two blocks away. I would definitely recommend this and will stay here again."

"Everything was adequate but not exceptional . There was no lighting in the entrance foyer, we arrived after dark. The carpeting in the main staircase and bedroom was dusty and had seen better days. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean, nice to have coffee available in the kitchenette. Great location, walkable to dining and evening entertainment."

"Host was very polite we arrived late for our concert because traffic was so terrible getting in was frazzled and couldn't find door codes to get in my message lucky host lived below and let us in and resent the codes even asked if I need help with my bags very clean property in a quite neighborhood rear in Richmond there are two separate door to enter that made me feel protective and private would stay again if I was ever in the area 10 out 10 would recommend"
