"The hotel is beautiful but unfortunately there were repeated issues with misinformation and poor communication throughout our stay. At check-in, we were told Pilates was offered daily at 9:30 AM. I even called the front desk the morning of to confirm and was told it was happening on the 6th floor, only to arrive and find out there was no class. The Pilates instructor informed us classes are only offered Friday–Sunday, not daily or weather permitting as we were later told by management. It became frustrating constantly receiving conflicting information depending on who we spoke with. There were several other disappointments during our stay: * The rooftop bar/music directly above our room created constant noise and banging late into the night. * Elevator wait times were extremely difficult, especially being on the 25th floor. * No ice machine on our floor. * The spa attempted to charge us more than the price we originally booked due to “dynamic pricing,” which was never disclosed until after our massage, completely ruining the relaxing experience. * We were also incorrectly charged at the bar and had an additional $423 in addition to the $750 security deposit hold placed on our account that we were never informed of during check in.  To their credit, the staff members themselves were generally kind and polite, the beds were very comfortable, and management did eventually remove two nights of resort fees and correct the extra account hold. "We arrived during a power outage that affected the building we were staying in. After waiting two hours we requested a room in a building that had power. We reserved an ocean front balcony and moved to beach view no balcony. They told us we would lose the balcony but I did not know they would charge us for a balcony room. Not fair!"

"Very nice place, especially for the price. Just a one minute walk from the beach. Spacious, clean room with kitchen area. Nice, very clean pool. They give you a beach towel with a beach bag for the beach, and you can keep a beach chair throughout your stay. Very satisfied. "

"Staff was excellent. Check-in was very professional and friendly. However, the lamp shade in my room was cracked and there was hair on the bathroom sink. The room has a smell of mildew and the floor gets damp for no reason. I mean the entire floor! This was thoughout the whole room. It would be damp and sticky and then it dries. Not sure if it was from the AC but it was strange. Room reminds me of a prison cell. The lobby smells really good though."
