Even during checkout, when getting the bags back to the car was a bit inconvenient due to the layout, the team handled everything for us with a smile and made it effortless. One of the things that made this stay so unique was the natural atmosphere—falling asleep to the sound of frogs and geckos every night genuinely felt like being tucked away in a peaceful forest. It added so much charm and authenticity to the experience. Overall, we enjoyed every single day of our stay. Chambre confortable, personnel de l'hôtel très accueillant et a l'écoute. Friendly accommodating staff with great communication prior to arrival who also helped arrange transportation. Free bikes available which we rode to view the white egrets a short distance uphill. Overpriced. Poorly trained staff. Access down an alleyway where no car can go so you have to drag your own luggage for 200m. Breakfasts are disgusting - only 3 choices and all cheap and badly cooked. Cooks are the drivers and cleaners of the rooms. No proper kitchen facilities and dining facilities. No reception only an untidy table with a computer and bits of papers. No meals offered at any other time and the place is quite a distance from Ubud in a poor, run-down village where you can't venture anywhere unless you book a driver or have your own transport. Much too expensive for what it is.
