Overall beautiful place , beautiful people /staff and amazing jungle like grounds well kept amazing pools and surroundings . In Hawaii this place would be easily around $800.00 a night .

Venue very hard to make contact with as has recently changed ownership as email / phone numbers not in service. Villa was lovely however had no running water- the system had offered either burning hot or freezing cold - then nothing. we were not offered an alternative. Beautiful villa in a beautiful area!

We stayed 2 nights here and wished we had booked for longer! The room was immaculate and the surrounding areas of the villa were beautiful! The pool was gorgeous, the room was spacious and our favourite part was the semi-outdoor rock shower! We had a relaxing time here, and it was in a lovely and quiet part of town. Definitely will go back to this place next time we visit Beautiful Bali!

The staff at Budhi Ayu were extremely helpful. We visited with a large school group (16 in total). All questions/requests were met with a friendly smile and every effort was made to facilitate a smooth stay for our group. The rooms are great and breakfast was delicious. Sylvia and Novi did a great job of making us all feel at home!

The staff is great and helpful. It's a quiet place and takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the center, but the staff can help you find transportation if you prefer shuttle, taxi, or motorbike.

Nice hotel but confusing experience

We were initially moved from the Budhi Ayu to another hotel by management and upon arrival we were told we had no reservation. Luckily, our driver had not yet left and we were able to easily move to the other hotel. The entire check in experience took about 2 hours with the confusion. Despite this poor experience we were upgraded to a beautiful 3 bedroom villa (we had booked only 2 rooms) with a private pool free of charge and were quite comfortable for the entirety of our trip. Overall a great hotel but definitely some management issues.

Fantastic location

It was a beautiful little area, fantastic little villas with their own kitchenettes. The bathroom was incredible and the outdoor shower was so cool! Would probably have liked a light in there though. The location was prime, only $5 to get into the centre! The breakfast however, was awful and was always late.

Nice place out of the hustle and bustle

Hotel was new and is a little out of Ubud itself. Local area is nice and there are some good restaurants, particularly Warungs, within a 10 minute walk. Service was great, overall, and very friendly. Breakfast was ok. If you are planning to spend a lot of time in central Ubud think about hiring bikes or a driver. The rates are so cheap here that it's worth it. Wi-fi comes from one router at reception so it will be very patchy in the rooms but is fine if you are by the pool or happy to sit in the lobby.

Disappointed - No Private Pool Villa

This hotel is a new hotel, but not well maintained. In the description of the room, it mentioned a private pool - yet there was no private pool. There was only a small pool for the entire hotel (and only three lounge chairs), but we were looking forward to having a private villa as we had in Seminyak. Wifi did not work the entire first day that we were at the hotel. They had not even received our reservation because the internet had not been working. Also, strange enough to me the entire bathroom is outside. This allowed for many insects and other critters to get into the bathroom, and I was petrified to use the toilet during the evening. Insects could then enter the bedroom area through the vats in the door that were not covered up. The area surrounding the hotel is sketchy, and it is pretty far away from the main area of Ubud. It was also hard for the taxi driver to locate. The only thing that made up for the things the hotel lacks was the incredibly nice and accommodating staff.

We enjoyed our stay in a jungle style room. Being served breakfast in the morning and having morning tea and breakfast overlooking greenery was very serene. The pool was wonderful also. The service was excellent and location quite central in Ubud.Although the WIFI did not work in the room.We still plan to return.

A new and spacious villa

With a low cost, we are glad to accommodate in such a new and spacious two-bed room villa. The staff also warmly met our needs. I appreciated that one of the staff bought glue for me because my shoe was broken. A nice villa for vocation.
