You will need to walk a few minutes from the main road where the car drops you off (moped accessible also) but it is well worth it for the peace and quiet away from the bustle of the town. The house and room were beautiful and extremely well maintained. We had great views also from the third floor. Breakfast is served on the roof top terrace. The room was very comfortable and everybody was very helpful and friendly, arranging our trips for us and offering advice. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it. The rooms are clean and spacious. The doorways are ornate and beautiful. The location gives you a great taste of traditional local life. The location Is quiet. Breakfast is served on the rooftop overlooking palm trees and rice fields. A visual treat. Breakfast is ordered the night before and served beautifully in style. The owners are great and caring people. The approach to the place is a little confusing since it is a private driveway. You have to walk a distance with your bags up a slope. If you let the owner. Wayan, know when you arrive, he can send transport to help with the luggage. I did not feel unsafe at any time. The owner can help you arrange a reliable taxi if you need one. We hired a taxi through him for two days. The driver Putu was a gem. Bluebird taxis do not operate in Ubud. You must pre arrange transportation to get a good and fixed rate. The facility is located very conveniently and is at walking distance to the Ubud palace, arts market.
