"We really enjoyed our stay here with Sean and Liz. The bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed being able to take a bath at the end of a long day. The house was spotlessly clean. The parking was right outside so was easy to get in and out with cases. Sean and Liz are wonderful hosts and we would happily stay again when we are next visiting Summerside."

The Boardwalk Inn

10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at The Boardwalk Inn in Summerside, PEI, was truly special. This beautifully preserved heritage home has been meticulously maintained, and from the moment you walk through the door, you feel transported back to Summerside’s fascinating days of lumber and shipbuilding. Every room has been thoughtfully decorated with a beautiful mix of period pieces and modern comforts. The attention to detail throughout the inn is exceptional—it feels authentic and historic without ever sacrificing comfort. And the cleanliness deserves its own mention: spotless from top to bottom. Everything was fresh, beautifully cared for, and inviting. Our host, Leslie, was wonderful—warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making sure we had everything we needed. And the food! Leslie is an outstanding chef, and breakfast was a highlight of our stay. There is something very special about staying somewhere that feels like a piece of PEI history rather than simply a place to sleep. The Boardwalk Inn has character, charm, comfort, history and exceptional hospitality in equal measure. A true 10/10 experience. We would happily return and highly recommend The Boardwalk Inn to anyone looking for a beautiful, memorable heritage stay in Summerside. ❤️"

"Pet friendly was a big reason we chose this chalet. Traveling with dogs, 3 adults, a 17 yr old and 12 yr old, they all needed their own beds. Each person had their own room which was great. We stayed in the chalet and it had 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, small deck on front, large one in the back with a table and chairs, plus a balcony up top also. For our needs it suited us perfectly. It was a little outdated, and could have been a bit cleaner, but for being pet friendly I know it is harder to clean because of pets. We were still happy with our stay and would stay there again."

"The room was the cleanest room of our entire trip. There was complimentary washer and dryer, it was great for drying our wet things from being out at the beaches. A single tide pod you could buy from the front desk for a dollar. It was a great location to be able to explore North Cape, West Point, Cavendish, North Rustico and more places. It was very dry and not damp like some places we’ve stayed in the past. They don’t want you drinking the tap water so they give you two complimentary bottles of water a day. Overall a great price for the accommodations."
