The quaint cabin is private, down a long driveway to the Grand River with only 1 other cottage nearby. We so enjoyed our morning coffee, bird listening, and views of oyster fishing boats pulling up their catches. The log cabin interior is charming, the beds great, and Donna, the host, hospitable and prompt. As you enter from the road you go through a wooded area which opens up to a large property right on the water. It's breathtaking. The small cottage is set at the back of the yard. The cottage has a small kitchen with everything you need. There are two bedrooms one with a double bed and another with two twins. Lots of windows allows you to take in the beautiful waterfront views. Donna was a lovely host! Ask her for details on where to get local lobster and oysters! Only 20 minutes from Summerside.
