Desoto unit 302, Luxury 3 Bedroom with Amazing Ocean View

"It was a great place to stay. I have a few minor suggestions. One is adding blackout curtains or blinds to the rooms b/c our kids had a hard time sleeping in once the sun came up. Second, updating the pictures b/c we brought a particular high chair that latches onto the back of a chair. I saw, based on the pictures, that the barstools had a back to them and I could put her portable highchair in one of those but when we got there the barstools didnt have a back so we had to use one of the taller chairs around the table which wasn't very sturdy and made me a little nervous. If we would have known we would have brought the stand alone highchair. Also, there was no mention that there was a Keriug so we didnt bring our pods and already bought filters and ground coffee. Overall, we had a great time and it was a great clean place to stay."

"Everything was perfect! Super comfort beds and a well appointed kitchen and bathrooms made our stay so memorably perfect. Owner provided detailed directions and was super responsive when we had a question about the pool. The view was beautiful and we felt right at home. So thankful for our time there and will definitely be back!"

"Had two pools. Close the beach, Had clean rooms. Balcony view was good. Refrigerator needed updated had broken door handle. Toilet didn't flush well. Weak battery in smoke alarm went off in middle of night."

"The Bed &Breakfast suite could have been cleaner. The floors were not cleaned well. And the kitchen counter Island had sand on it. We understand we are at the beach, but finding a thin layer of sand on the kitchen counter isn't good at all....."

"I’ll start off with the positives: The room is air conditioned and spacious. The terrace can 3-4 people max. The fact that I was about 40 or so steps from the beach was the ultimate plus. I didn’t need to cook anything since there were restaurants left and right which were easily accessible for the location. They were even willing to offer an early check in which was cool. The negatives were not that many but noticeable. The room can use an upgrade (paint/updated appliances/Clean the mold and water stains). I get it, it’s the first floor but it’s still a place that you’re paying $400 for so you would expect to get your moneys worth. If you’re on the first floor then be prepared to hear anyone that will be staying above you and there isn’t anything you can do about it, that’s just the way the unit is built. I wished they showed the other properties for their location as additional options as I only saw the terrace and the apartment. They also have a hotel right next to the terraces which would’ve also been helpful. The parking was covered but tight, especially if someone is parked next to you. Overall I can give this place a 7/10, would’ve been a solid 9/10 if the upgrades were made."
