"Angie and Charly could not have been more welcoming, The position was spectacular overlooking the valley set in a lovely garden, The rooms very tastefully decorated with large proportions.
If in the area again we would definitely stay again."
"It was an excellent 2 night stay, breakfast was plentiful and delicious with lots of choice, bed was very comfortable providing a good night's sleep and being able to use the swimming pool was an added plus, would definitely reccomend. "
"We have stayed in a caravan at Woodlands Hall but this was our first stay in the Hall..
It was lovely! Everything was Five Star.. In particular we’d like to thank Will who was so helpful! He was friendly and helped us sort a spare bed.. 🌟"
"A little tucked away - so be aware not to drive by it quickly on the A55.
Staff were excellent and the Burger King next door was great - the food was yummy (better than other BK's I've been too).
Ideal location for onward trips to North Wales"
"Very remote, which was both good and bad. Good as really felt away from it all, and therefore very relaxing, but access was by a steep dirt track and really only suitable for 4x4 vehicles.
The property is very large and spacious, well equipped kitchen (only thing missing was a corkscrew!) with nice comfy beds and a very large garden.
Clean enough to be comfy but no so much that you felt the kids couldn’t run in and out for fear of getting the floors grubby. A lovely mix of old rustic charm and...

"I have stayed twice at the Talardy when my dad has been in hospital. The staff are amazing, very caring and quick to help. The first time I stayed in the main building, this time in the annex. Both are very good, and I appreciated the air con as I arrived in a heat wave. The rooms are very clean and roomy. The breakfasts are cooked fresh and very filling. After spending the day with dad I would come back and have an evening meal, again cooked fresh, plenty of choice and excellent service. I felt very welcomed. The only quibble I have is that reception in the annex was hit and miss so I missed a couple of calls. If that gets improved then it will be 10/10 rather than a 9.5."
"Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more.
Also for added security there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, smoke alarms and security light.
The weather wasn’t too kind to us however there is a small table and chairs on the decking area and a picnic bench on the grassed area.
There is a large garden area for walking your dog, if you go to the top there is a large swing seat that has great views of the sea.
Inside the pod you will find a folder with so much information in that the owners have put together that covers everything, we used this to locate local pubs we could go to with our puppy, we would defo recommend The Plough we had breakfast there, and definitely recommend The Blue Bell the food is amazing, both these pubs are a 10 minute drive from the pod.
All in all we had a fantastic week here our puppy didn’t want to get in the car when we left, we will certainly recommend to people and will definitely be back for another visit."
