"This was a lovely B&B run by the sweetest couple! From the moment we arrived, we felt like a part of the family. The room was spacious and beautiful, the property was spectacular, and the breakfast was the most delicious I've ever had. We will definitely stay here again, and we recommend staying here to everyone."

Lakehouse on beautiful Tait Lake in the wonderful town of Bancroft.
10/10 Excellent
"What a great week … as others stated the property exceeded expectations …. Nice and roomy.. Kitchen is super well equipped … checkin was a breeze as door code provided and easy entrance. Master has great view of lake and sunrise… 2 bathrooms with showers is a bonus… water toys and inflatables were great as was the hot tub … lots of comfy chairs on dock and deck…. Screen in room overlooks lake and is excellent for your morning coffee and reading time…Fire pit area is large and roomy and ample wood was provided. The backyard area is nice and flat for your cornhole games and whatever else you need Internet was good and fast and allowed people to work if needed and be on video calls speed was always over 60MBPS All in all an excellent property and we would not hesitate to rebook again This feels like you are borrowing a friends or family members cottage vs a rentalPlease don’t hesitate in booking this property !!!"
Waterfront Private Hideaway in Bancroft (ClamOnInn)
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at ClamOnInn from Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18, and had a fantastic time. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and comfortably fit our group of seven (two families – four adults and two kids aged 11 and 12).The host was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.The lake was peaceful and perfect for families. Our kids loved the kayaks and paddle boards, and we felt completely safe letting them explore on their own. There’s a dock in shallow water that’s great for lounging, and another floating dock in deeper water that was perfect for swimming.Inside, the cottage had everything we needed. The kitchen featured a brand-new stove with an air fryer, plenty of storage, and a water cooler that the kids loved (they’ve never drank so much water!). The BBQ was also new and got a lot of use during our stay. One of our favorite features was the balcony – a great spot to relax and enjoy the view.We would absolutely recommend this place to others and would definitely book it again in the future."
"We had a fantastic time at the cottage! John was incredibly kind and very flexible with both check-in and check-out, which made our trip so much easier to enjoy. The cottage was warm and cozy, even though we visited in mid-April when the weather can still be chilly. The beds were super comfortable, and everything in the home made us feel relaxed and welcomed. You can tell how much care John and Ann Marie have put into making this a perfect getaway spot. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful escape. We’d definitely love to return!"
"Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the property and would definitely consider returning in the winter season. However, we were very surprised to see that the primary bedroom shown in the photos no longer exists. It has been renovated to two bedrooms, and the barn door is no longer there. I was very disappointed. The fact that there were no pictures of the bathroom worried me. The bathroom is okay, especially for a cottage. But the toilet paper is placed on top of a garbage can, instead of mounted. Other finishes in the bathroom are lacking - screws are exposed and trim is damaged. The other inaccuracy is the privacy. It is essentially right on the highway. We could hear cars in the morning while we were sleeping. It wasn't a big deal in the winter, but it was enough that I wouldn't want to be there in summer. Finally, the kitchen is described as well stocked, but is missing some basic essentials that you should expect, like an ice cube tray, measures, and wine glasses. We had to go and buy wine glasses as the only option was very cracked plastic. Now for the good stuff. This cottage was the most immaculately clean property I have rented. I had ZERO concerns in any of the spaces. The common area with the couch and fireplace was spot on. Cozy, comfy and inviting. And the kitchen was a joy to cook in. We would definitely consider returning for a cozy winter retreat. All in all, we really enjoyed it!"
