"Highly recommend, especially if you want to enjoy visiting Bon Echo and the area but aren't able to camp. The rooms are quiet and well maintained, the staff is fabulous. Each room has air conditioning and heat, depending on what you need, plus a mini fridge, micro, tv, wifi, etc., and there is a restaurant and bar on site open most days. They also have a fire pit out back guests are able to use, an ice cream counter, and a pool table in the bar. If you need anything, staff are happy to help. We stayed cool during the heatwave, safe during the storms, and entertained when the weather was too much.
The only thing I wish was different is that they don't offer room cleaning during stays which means if you're going to stay longer than a few nights, bring some cleaning supplies with you. We stayed for one night last fall as we were passing through and it was totally fine, but this trip I stayed eight nights with three kids 10 and under - one in diapers - and took them to beach and woods every day. Things got very messy very quickly and I wished someone could have popped in with a vacuum and to collect the garbage every few days (I took our garbage upstairs every few days and ended up just buying a broom), but otherwise it was excellent.
We'll definitely be going back and are looking forward to our next visit. Such a great experience."
"A beautifully located cottage right on the lake. Breathtaking view from your own balcony and backyard. Star gazing from the dock and wood burning at night ( with mosquitoes being quiet happy ). All these you get if you stay at this cottage. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. One small comment-no air-condition. Our week temperatures kept around 35-40C. Even with multiple fans, it was very hot. Perfect temperatures to stay by the lake! Kitchen fully equipped. Bring nothing!! Hot water with consistent pressure. Lots of games available to play. BBQ,TV, WiFi . Pets friendly! We absolutely loved it. I recommend this location 100%."
"We stayed here somewhat unexpectedly, when a heat wave cut our camping trip short. What a gem of a spot! Not only did they accommodate us last minute, the cabin was clean and well thought out with all amenities we could need. The lake was beautiful and the dock was a great place to enjoy. We would like to return for a longer stay sometime as we didn't want to leave."

10/10 Excellent
"The host, check-in process and communication all were incredibly welcoming, the rooms were spotless, very clean and luxurious, the neighbhood is very safe and quiet and its central Bancroft location so it was perfect for exploring the city. I highly recommend it for a premium, stress-free getaway."
"My friends and I had a lovely stay here! We planned for summer but it rained throughout - luckily the cottage is suitable for all seasons. The firepit setup was great for when it was cold, and the deck by the water was great for when the sun was finally out. We brought our own drinking water and food, but otherwise everything else was available. Totally worth the visit!"
