"Extremely convenient location across from the JR Ferry terminal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to our 2 year old. The room and bath were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great and the free drinks/treats in the lobby were a nice addition"

"The staff are pretty wonderful and so helpful! There are laundry facilities which is helpful and the dryer will dry clothes American style (fully dry) but there is also a hanging line in the bathroom shower to hang clothes too. The room was a little small but it is more of a business hotel and than family but my teen and tween and myself made a king size room work for 9 days. Lawson’s is right across the street so handy for affordable snacks and meals and Fuji dept store is a couple of doors down for groceries or shopping. Lots of small restaurants right around the hotel and the post office is next door. We had no issues and highly recommend this hotel for short or longer stays!"

"Everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff were incredible and very accommodating. The shuttle service was very convenient and made sure to wait for everyone. The dinner and breakfast were both amazing, it was really great getting two meals full of local foods. The view out the hotel window was fantastic, we could sit and just look outside for hours at the deer walking around the beach. It was a perfect mix of traditional Japanese hospitality with modern comfort and convenience. Our favorite hotel we stayed at during our two weeks in Japan."

"We had a fantastic stay! The hotel is in a great location. The room was spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Unlimited wine at night with all day provided snacks was a cherry on the top. I would recommend it to anyone to stay there who would plan an overnight stay on the island. "We stay at The Yard for 8 nights. Our unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the office employees were very friendly. We appreciated the frozen “light meals” that were included in our very reasonable room rate. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Our only complaint would be that the completely asphalted property has very poor drainage, so when we had an extremely rainy day our shoes got soaked walking onto the property to access our unit. "
