The resort is very old and needs a good cleaning. The entrance area had a mouldy smell, but the room were VERY big and clean!! Lots of room and liked the decor. I did like the private onsen, but it was not what I expected. It was more of a tube outside on your deck. Taxis standen bereit. Über eine relativ steile Treppe ging es zum Hoteleingang. Da das Hotel eher auf japanisches Klientel ausgerichtet ist, kann man sich nur eingeschränkt mit Englisch verständigen. Achtung kein Lift vorhanden. Die gebuchten modernen Zimmer mit eigenem Onsen waren überraschend groß, sehr sauber, komfortabel und mit Blick auf Miyashima. Typisches japanisches Frühstück und Abendessen sind im Ryokan mit dabei. Transfer zum Bahnhof hat das Hotel gerne erledigt.
