Crown Motel

Crown Motel

8/10 Good
"The check in was chaotic as I was assigned a room that did not match the description and picture of the room that I had booked online through Expedia. I mentionned to the clerk that I wanted the room that I had specifically booked. The clerk was reluctant , finding multiple excuses for assigning a different room in a different location of the property. She mentionned a change in room would incur additional charges !! She finally changed the room after a long "discussion". I was finally assigned the room that I had booked and that corresponded to the picture. The check in used to be a lot smoother with the previous clerks. It appears that this particular person was pulling excuses out of her hat which is not acceptable."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Ponderosa Palisades?
The best time to go to Ponderosa Palisades is during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

Spring offers mild temperatures, typically ranging from 15Β°C to 25Β°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and exploring the national parks without the peak summer heat. Wildflowers are often in bloom, adding to the scenery.

Autumn also provides comfortable temperatures, usually between 10Β°C and 20Β°C, alongside the stunning fall foliage. This period is particularly good for those looking to enjoy scenic drives and vineyard tours as the harvest season begins. The cooler evenings are great for relaxing by a fire.

While summer (July and August) is popular, with temperatures often exceeding 30Β°C, it's also the busiest time, leading to larger crowds and higher prices for accommodation and activities.
