This inn remains largely the way it was for the 1960 Olympics. Mt roon was smallish but stylish, with a well-equipped kitchen and balcony overlooking the slopes. I had misgivings when Kathy from San Jose checked me in, as her interpersonal skills were lacking and she seemed to be in over her head despite me being the only one at the desk. Everyone else was competent enough and generally quite friendly, particularly Jordan and Griffin, the drivers of the shuttle back and forth from the base of the tram. The shuttle was key, as the Inn is tucked back in a corner of the valley, and would otherwise require a walk less than enjoyable in ski boots.
Overall, quite a pleasant stay.
