This VIP 2bdrm upgraded, xtra large Knuckle suite is a favorite. ✅ Yes, the photos are the exact suite and furnishings you stay in! This 1000 square foot 2 bedroom consists of an extra large deluxe fireplace suite with one private primary King bedroom with a full bathroom, granite top vanity sink, separate toilet and soaking bath/ shower combination. The main area consists of a resort style kitchen, dining & living area with a queen sofa sleeper, romantic gas fireplace. There’s also an attached 379 square foot 2 queen bedroom, another full bath, work desk and bar area. We are family friendly! A Pak- N-play is supplied in the closet, just bring your child’s blankets. Fantastic view of the Palisades(Squaw Valey) Mountain from the room. Ski in ski out via the Palisades Resort Chair. We had our two kids with us, so to be able to stretch out, let them have their own room and beds, and have our own space was really great. It’s two rooms connected and a corner unit. Would definitely come back. Resort staff was very helpful as well. We had a couple of small issues - but resort was responsive and fixed them quickly. As we returned to end the summer in Tahoe again we looked on VRBO to see if a cabin might be fun and stumbled across this listing. It was such a great deal in contrast to booking directly through the hotel. The suite was exactly as listed and we could not have been happier with our experience. The resort has SO many activities and amenities that the daily fee is very worth it imo. Great location, great resort and great deal on VRBO. We'll be back! ##### Staci G. First day up, rain. Second day, cold and cloudy. Third/last day, rain. Despite all of these we had fantastic time. The communication between myself and Fauna was great. The amenities at the resort, awesome. The room was perfect for two families of 4 with kids under 12\. The room was clean and exactly as advertised. The best part was the view. It was an easy drive from Reno, and we stopped there for groceries before making our way to the resort (there is a grocery store at Tahoe City, but we didn't know that then). Our host was very communicative, and check-in was easy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.Note the kitchen really is a kitchenette. They did have pans for us to make a large pot of pasta on the induction stovetop. The refrigerator is small, so you might want a cooler if you have a lot of things that need to be cooled. None of us are coffee drinkers, so we didn't use the Keurig system.The beds were comfortable, except for the fold-out couch. The guys rotated use of it, and all said they could feel the metal support bars. We had plenty of blankets and pillows, and the heating/cooling worked well for us.One major benefit was the ease of ski storage and lift access. The Resort Lift was a super short walk, and the blue slope to get to the Palisades lifts and gondolas was a fun run and good warm-up. Do know that there are no green/beginner runs off of this lift, and ski teams close a run on weekends.We would stay here again for sure. ##### Pamela K.
