"I stayed here for an overnight stop between La Fortuna and Monteverde, the hotel was better than I was expecting. Everything was great, a/c provided, was clean and comfortable and no issues at all. Would definitely stay here again if I were passing through. Tilarán is quite a sleepy little town, not a great deal going on there"

"Alexandra went out of her way to make me feel welcome. She made a fruit smoothie and coconut snack as a welcome treat. The Tico studio was very functional and fit the jungle environment. The bed was very comfortable and with the sound of the rain I fell asleep quickly and awoke refreshed. Honestly the best sleep and rest if the trip. Alexandra made empanadas and tea for breakfast. Totally unexpected as the description didn't indicate that breakfast was included."

"The booking details aren’t accurate on here from what the hotel told us. I don’t understand why there would be an option to pay later when the hotel said we can pay no later than 2 weeks in advance. We almost lost our room, and the communication wasn’t great. We spent 4 hours during a really busy time for us trying to figure out what was going on. We checked in fine, but I was getting charged twice and had to fix it with the hotel and spent more time and stress which was another inconvenience I had to deal with again during my trip and the short amount of time that we did have. I did enjoy my stay, but this was one of the most slippery resorts we’ve ever stayed at."

"Beautiful property with the space our family of 5 needed for sleeping. One thing we felt was missing is outlets as well as hooks in the shower or around room to hang up towels or wet swimsuits. Being as this is a hot springs resort, that seems to be a very needed thing in the rooms. Overall great experience however! "

"Wonderful Stay with Wildlife and Convenience We had a great time staying at this hotel! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the surroundings offered a unique experience with wildlife like pigs and capuchin monkeys right on the property. One of the highlights was the walkable distance to Mystic Mountain, which made exploring super convenient. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, though it’s served at the resort located a short 5-minute drive down the hill. That said, the staff went above and beyond by packing breakfast for us the night before since we had an early departure. Overall, a peaceful and memorable stay—we’d definitely come back!"

"The property was excellent — very clean with amazing staff. The only downside was that the pool closes too early. It would be great if they extended the hours by at least an hour or two so guests can enjoy the hot springs after a long day of hiking."
