"Well where do I start… this place is truly special. The photos on the listing don’t do it justice. It is honestly beautiful. The home is immaculate and clean, and the bed is huge and super comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows give fantastic views into the beautiful green gardens which are manicured to perfection. Oscar who looks after the property is lovely and will make sure you are comfortable during your stay. This place is honestly a hidden gem you must book it if staying in Monteverde. There is even a little trail into the rainforest from the end of the garden. At night you will find frogs in the pond. The property location is just 10-15 minute drive from selvatura park and Santa elena cloud forest. I would recommend a 4x4 or SUV as the last 1km of road is loosely paved. 10/10 I would recommend this stay. "

"The houses and property were amazing! The staff was very helpful guiding my wife and I when the main road was closed for construction. As a photographer, the scenery from the balcony area was absolutely stunning! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!"

"Location is about 20–25 minutes from downtown. The space is cozy and suitable for a family of four, and the balcony is very nice. However, there was an ongoing odor in the room, and the bathroom had a strong smell, which affected our overall comfort. "

"The home was perfectly outfitted. The location was ideal for walking about with restaurants and beaches and hiking trails close by. We would definitely stay again. "

"The rooms were clean, staff is very friendly and aims to please. The lodge offers a simple nice breakfast. Dinner is also available if you confirm - we chose to eat off property. The road to arrive is extremely rough - potholes, less than two lanes at times - but worth it once you arrive. There was no TV in our room, I suggest making certain you have games or other entertainment. I also suggest planning to arrive back at the lodge early evening, before it gets too dark, but only due to the road. Don't let any part of my review scare you. This was our second stay. They now have a hanging bridge company and zip line company off their same road - easy access to adventure outside of the waterfall hike accessible from the lodge."

"The house is fantastic — spacious, with two floors, and each bedroom has its own private bathroom, which is a big plus. However, it’s important to know that the property is part of a larger complex, including a duplex and nearby houses, so you can definitely hear the neighbors at times. One major downside for us was the lack of access to a washing machine. We stayed for six nights and were only provided with one towel per person and two small cloths for drying dishes. Given the humidity in the area — where nothing dries properly — this was really inconvenient and disappointing. That said, the location is great — nestled in the mountains and close to many activities and national parks. We even walked to Aventura Park in under five minutes! Overall, I’d say it’s a great place if you’re only staying for a short visit. "
