- Welcome to Cloud Forest House — a handcrafted two-story home in Monteverde's cloud forest, built with luxurious Costa Rican wood and designed for travelers who want something more personal than a hotel.
THE SPACE
This was our family home, and it shows in every detail: warm wood interiors, a spacious two-story layout, and large windows that bring the forest inside. The king bedroom and comfortable living spaces make it ideal for couples or small families seeking a peaceful, premium stay.
The house is semi-detached, and there are other cabins on the property — each with its own private entrance, so your privacy is always respected.

Wake up to tropical birdsong. Toucans, hummingbirds, and even the rare quetzal live in this forest. Monteverde is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth — and you're right in the middle of it.

Monteverde sits at 1,400 meters elevation — that's what creates the magical cloud forest, and also means cool temperatures (14–22°C / 57–72°F) and misty, breezy days year-round. Pack a light jacket, even in summer.
The house is 3 km from Monteverde's town center — a 10-minute drive. We recommend renting a car or using local taxis . Our on-site team is always nearby if you need anything during your stay.
