"The room was very clean and bougie the people was very nice i would’ve given them 5 stars if it wasn’t because is really hard to find and theres no instructions on what floor they have their reception also theres no one at the reception unless they have people checking in but other then that if you can look past that everything was fantastic i would definitely stay there again if i ever go back and is only 10 minutes away from the basilica another plus is it has A/C."

"Our stay at Mama Shelter was just right for us. The room was clean, comfortable, and had great air conditioning, which was especially appreciated when it was 100 degrees outside and we came back tired and hot after our tours. This was our first time in Rome, and we truly enjoyed the city to the fullest. A big plus was the hotel’s location—it’s only about a 15-minute walk from the Vatican, and the train station is just a 4-minute walk away. It is a little far from the city center, but getting there by train was very easy and convenient. The staff was nice, but we did feel that the service could have been more welcoming. We noticed that when we walked in and out of the hotel, they usually didn’t acknowledge us or even say hello unless we greeted them first. Whenever we asked for something, they answered our questions, but we didn’t feel that extra level of care or hospitality. We absolutely loved the rooftop! However, during our first two nights, we were told that we needed a reservation, even though there were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant. We were eventually allowed to sit, but we were a little disappointed and confused by the situation. We also had breakfast included with our stay. Every time we went to breakfast, we felt like we were being questioned at the entrance about whether breakfast was included in our reservation. We completely understand checking, but the way it was handled sometimes felt a little rude or uncomfortable. If we are coming down for brea"
