Everything was good about the hotel except the room comfort, which was terrible.
Advertised as having heating and air conditioning, but should have stated when they wanted to provide it.
It was so hot in the room that my wife could not get prepared properly to go out while she was sweating so much do to the room temperature, which was 27-28 C.
System was capable of providing cooling, but they would energize it only when they wanted to, unless we continued to keep complaining.
Superb Staff and Breakfasts make this Hotel a winner.. Firstly the staff are very friendly and helpfull and speak good English, the best I have come across on a city break. The Breakfast was superb covering everyones needs with anything from smokes salmon to pastry's, even when a group of 50 French people were there they still ensured we had a good breakfast. The Hotel is in a good local area yet only 15 mins walk to the historic centre. Best experience I have had on a city break. 10 out of 10
The apartment was very basic, with no views or windows to anywhere, but it met our needs for the two nights we were there. It was located within walking distance for us to see the cathedral and the palace. There was also an amazing market around the corner. The front desk staff was very pleasant and spoke English. We were unable to figure out how to turn on the AC to the two bedrooms, but the one in the main room worked well.
Good location if you travel by car - free parking and bus stop to downtown within 100m. Many supermarkets in the neighborhood. A little weird to have a breakfast looking at the stadium but it's fun. The breakfast is very good, many choices to choose from. The only con is that when we asked for an iron we got response that their guest iron is currently out of service, which is unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Overall we had a good stay here.
Across the Guadalquivir from central Seville, Triana once was home to bull fighters, sailors, and Romani. The lively atmosphere persists in the shops and restaurants along Calle Betis. Triana's locally esteemed Iglesia de Santa Ana used to provide higher ground during major floods. Visit in July to experience the Velá Santana festival, a Triana tradition, filled with local specialties.
