"The hotel was located in a safe area close to the city centre and metro stop. The rooms clean and serviced every day, whilst some reviews say rooms are small the deluxe room had plenty space for our needs. The slight negative was the breakfast is limited to the same every day and there is no half board option. Overall we enjoyed the stay."

"Location was a in a great. Very safe, walkable, near a lot of restaurants and shops. Walking distance to all the major sites. AC was very cold which was a blessing since we went in August. The lobby/ front desk was a few blocks away from the actual building where our rooms were. It is was in an older repurposed building which had a lot of charm. Not very sound proof, we could hear talking and people walking through the hallways coming in an out. However, nothing beats the location and AC, both a must if you are staying in Rome."

"I highly recommend Hotel Nazionale. It is absolutely beautiful inside and very clean, the staff is kind and goes above and beyond for your needs (especially Roberta and Patrick). Free breakfast and a bar for drinks at night. It’s also next to a beautiful government building with a constant police presence (so there were no people loitering or selling things outside the hotel) so we felt extremely safe. It’s also the perfect location in the heart of Rome!! It really doesn’t get much better than that and we are soooo glad that we chose to stay here."

"The room was clean and cool, which was a much needed thing in August. Breakfast had a good range of foods and drinks. The TV didn’t work - but that didn’t bother us as we were so busy and well placed to get around. It’s literally 5 minutes from the Vatican and Metro A Line. So many good restaurants nearby too. We would stay here again 100%."
