"Lovely stay gorgeous little chalet. Is small but great use of space and everything you need is inside.Was clean and tidy however a little tired and could have done with a good dust. But didn't spoil the stay. Also mattress could do with replacing.Loved the history of our chalet and the site is really lovely. Great area easy walk to the beach and into Hayle.Each chalet was unique and plenty of space in between, very friendly.Would definitely return beaches are absolutely incredible."

"This is a decent property in a good location with easy parking on-site. But beware: it has almost no internet access and not great mobile reception either. Thick stone walls and facing the harbour means it lacks line-of-site to mobile towers. My modern phone worked, but data speeds were poor inside the apartment. The provided "wifi" consists of a dinky 4G hotspot which sometimes worked ar 1990s speeds: kilobits/sec. But mostly it didn't work at all. No other complaints, but lack of internet...

"Unfortunately we had to leave our accommodation two days earlier than planned. The property felt damp, although clean it smelt damp, the bedding did not feel clean nor did it smell fresh. I note from the previous comments that this is not the first time this has been mentioned, so it is a shame that nothing seems to have been done about it. It was extremely disappointing as our intention was to spend time with our grandchildren who live in Helston, but my husband's health situation could not...

"Faded and fraying. Having paid the premium rate for a week in August we were at least expecting clean well appointed accommodation. All the comments I will make have been mentioned in previous reviews and I am not sure that the owner will take any action to remedy the faults. The directions to the accommodation were adequate but could be a little better. On arrival there was a musty smell of damp, I appreciate that the building is old but it has been renovated and surely something could be done....
