Very outdated rooms, carpet coming up in the halls. My daughter tripped on it. Hot tub was green and unable to be used, our other group was charged $250 for a broken toilet see but it wasn't functioning properly when they got there. The only positive about this hotel is that it's close to downtown and walking distance to a lot of things. Overall too pricey for what you get.
Although the hotel is older and somewhat outdated, it was clean and well-maintained. The staff was exceptional—very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The hotel as a whole is not the cleanest. The staff at breakfast were rude and not accommodating. When asked to split the bill they refused.

terrible bathroom... very low water pressure. only one working ice machine on the 2nd floor. elevators out of order (tower side) had to use very small staff elevator.
First of all, we arrived after 4 and they would’ve let us check in. They said they’d call in when our too was ready. We couldn’t check in until after 5. That sucked after a long drive and had to wait, We didn’t know there was a newer section called the tower that we weren’t staying in. We were in the older side. No housekeeping so people left ALOT of food and garbage in the hallways for days so that was gross. The mattresses were worn uneven and the bathrooms were tiny and dirty. Oh and the restaurant (Minerva’s) in the hotel had terrible service . I waited 20 minutes at the bar for a slice of cake when there were only 2 other people in the whole restaurant. Good location but wouldn’t stay again.
Have stayed at Park Place many times over the years, it is conveniently located downtown and allows walking to most of the bars, restaurants and entertainment. However, the lack of upkeep and overall aesthetic is becoming hard to justify spending what they charge a night when newer hotels
are a few blocks away.
Atter checking in, we found the main elevator in the tower was out of service and all customers must share the service elevator with staff. More than once we had to wait for more than one cycle of the elevator due to it being full or only with a couple people and housekeeping laundry bins.
After getting to the room, there was a notice that daily housekeeping is no longer offered at Park Place. You can of course call the desk if you need anything, but over $300 a night and no daily cleaning is unacceptable.
The location of the property was perfect. The staff was great. The room was clean. It was our 4th Wedding Anniversary and the free coupons were great. Thank you, Park Place for making our day special.
Great hotel & location!! We could leave the car in the lot & reach many places in the downtown by foot. Also, not a far drive from the many wineries in the area. Would definitely stay here again!
Been years since we stayed at Park Place...had an excellent 3 night stay, very accommodating for our late arrival and request to have our two rooms close together! Front desk staff excellent, dining room dinner and breakfast stay excellent, very nice manager and food very good! Excellent convenient parking & ramp for scooter entry.
We hope to stay again next year! ONLY downside was the main elevator was not functioning and understand has not been fixed for quite a while, other than that, a great stay and love how close it is to downtown for my husbands scooter! THANK YOU PARK PLACE!!! Nearly forgot...love the GIFT SHOP!!!
The front-of-house staff and the restaurant staff were very nice and helpful. The upstairs (with view of the lake) lounge is great for relaxing after dinner out in town. old worldly.

Excellent location, right in heart of town. Comfortable beds, but rooms and hotel could use a good scrubbing. Elevators are wonky, did not use pool. Exterior doors were non-functioning for part of our stay, but were locked at night and blocked off for security. But truly FANTASTIC LOCATION!
