Good clean rooms. Big resort. Virtually nobody else there. Had food in afternoon when we arrived. Did go back for more later as info said restaurant open till 10pm (we went at 7pm), however, everywhere was shut by then.
Good breakfast. Very few staff as it was so quiet. The ones there were excellent.

The staff were welcoming and always smiling and polite. We had a room with direct access to the pool which was fantastic and used every morning for a pre breakfast swim. The hotel was immaculate with staff discreetly cleaning and repairing at all points during the day.

Stayed in the bungalows above the mangrove. There are also luxury bungalows in the grounds with AC.
A beautiful location with amazing gardens and located within a fascinating fishing village.
Great food and staff although there is also a small coffee shop nearby that has an English menu for food + tower ice creams.
Pity about the aggressive barking dogs, but they're everywhere in Thailand.

We loved the pools and the view from the hotel across the beach and out to sea. The staff were incredibly lovely and the splash pool and slide a hit with the kids. The morning yoga was wonderful the restaurant food was good too. The only downside for us was that the property is in need of some renovation. Broken tiles in beach pool, proves missing their thatching, our outdoor shower was unusable as filthy and in poor condition. The indoor shower was a handheld standing or sitting in bath so not...

when we arrived my boyfriend was not impressed which my choice! the place isn't very Thai and the pool was tiny he said. But after a brilliant night sleep in the most comforting hotel bed I have ever slept in we went for breakfast in the little restaurant area on the private beach. The breakfast was cooked to order and there was a good selection of western and Thai dishes we were starting to feel much better about the hotel! I asked about the pool and they said we could use their sister hotel...

We really enjoyed our relaxing beach holiday on the beautiful island of Ko Mak. Of the three hotels on our trip this was our favourite. (Other hotels were the 4* Awa Resort on Ko Chang and Choaloa Tosang Beach Resort on Choa load beach on the mainland).
We stayed in a beach front bungalow (S6) which had stunning views across the bay, and open onto an immaculately maintain lawn leading directly onto the beach.
