"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our families absolutely loved the Alley Bundle at Academy Place. Whoever designed and built the Academy Place houses is brilliant because they made the best use of every space in the homes. The layout is perfect and the high end decor is lovely. The houses were clean, fully stocked kitchens & beds comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and walking distance from town. We had a great experience with the property management team, who were always available during our stay—even on the weekend! The only hiccup was trying to make the initial reservation over the weekend, which connects you to a call center and can be a bit challenging. If you can, call during the week to speak with a local Crested Butte representative to make the reservation & ask questions. Or on their website. Most importantly, don't worry about call centers during your actual trip; local help is always right there when you are at the house at the Academy Place. Oh, we were delighted that they welcomed our dog to stay with us!"

"This was my second year in a row renting this property and I cannot recommend it enough! The space is extremely functional, clean, and well set-up so that you don't have to think about a thing during your stay. The location is incredible - you can walk to coffee, restaruants, shops. I spend a lot of my trip hiking and the place is a straight shot out of town to Kebler pass. The owner is very warm, kind, and so accomodating and easy to work with. You get the impression that she truly cares about your stay and a relaxing vacation! Do note, there are stairs up to the unit, which may be harder for guests who need ground level accessibility. Book this place - you won't be sorry!"

"There were 3 couples, this is a compilation of observations: Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, very quiet, great walkable town access. A little shy on basic kitchen things like salt/pepper/sugar, but the specialty boxes of soaps, personal care and cleaning supplies were a nice surprise. One couple wished there was a door on the upstairs bathroom, said the ceiling fan was a bit noisy and the thermostat seemed not to work, though they were comfortable. Another said the electric outlets in the small main floor room were not all operable. Small details that might be missed if not checked regularly. We ALL appreciated the EASY CHECK-OUT! This is an annual event for us, across many states and many rentals, we have not experienced such an easy "wrap-up", no stripping beds, no sweeping, etc. We don't give a rubber stamp 5 star rating, we appreciated your property for all of its quirky charm, (which isn't really visible in your photos!)."

"Our 2nd time at the cozy, extremely clean and comfortable condo. We really love everything about staying here! Great communication, easy parking, everything well stocked and the convenience of being so close to the main part of Crested Butte. We loving being able to walk to restaurants and shops and then coming back to the cozy fireplace and comfortable bed. Sure we will be back to stay again at this beautiful property!"
