Small unit, but very clean. Friendly staff, helping both at reception and bar area as needed.
Great area, close to all major shops and restaurants. A longer stay would require a larger room, but a 2 day stay worked out well for us.
when i checked in the room was pre paid but they asked
for a credit card for a guarantee which i gave them.
then they asked about the room tax,i paid then in cash.
when i checked out they asked about room tax again, told
them i had already paid in cash. left hotel and with in one
hour the had taken a payment on my credit card for the
room tax. i feel like i have been robbed

Good morningWe are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. Do not hesitate to send us an email to explain your problem.Hoping, all the same, to see you again very soon in our establishment.Best regardsThe reception
There’s no wardrobe or closet, only clothes hangers. The bathroom is really tiny. Staff made an effort to answer me in English which was much appreciated.
It's a perfectly reasonable hotel for a short city stay, the room was clean if a little cramped. The room we had overlooked the rear carpark so not a great view but at least it was quiet. Would have been nice to have a room safe. The breakfast buffet was not a bad selection but, no decaf coffee.
Good morning, John,Many thanks for your note.Hoping to see you again very soon,The reception

For the price it was ok
Well situated in Toulouse, front desk stall friendly, shower in bathroom did not drain well, damp and mould on the floor boards in room caused by shower issue.
Absolutely no one in this hotel can speak English. There are several front lady’s at the desk and not a single person can speak English. It was an absolute nightmare trying to communicate with staff was completely impossible. The front lady actually yelled at me when I said it lists English on the website as a spoken language in this hotel. The hotel is very unaccommodating. The most unaccommodating hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No coffee in the rooms. When I asked for coffee, I was charged three euros for an instant cup of coffee. Two towels provided for two people. No hand towel, no face towel, one roll of half used toilet paper. The shower is tiny, rooms not properly cleaned. Would not recommend even for a budget. Not a three star more of a one star.

Dear Madam,Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment following your stay.Regarding coffee in the room, ibis hotel (Red Ibis) does not have a coffee maker service in the room, unless you take the "comfort room", which is listed as "with coffee maker and teapot".We are sorry, but yes, if you take a coffee, it will indeed be charged, as anything taken in a bar.The first two young receptionists you had had difficulty expressing themselves in English, but after 5 minutes of both parties not understanding each other, a third receptionist came forward and spoke to you in English. If you wanted more towels or other items in the rooms, the reception is a 24/24 service, you could have called the reception and they would have charged you extra.Nevertheless, we are sorry that you did not like the service.
A lovely central hotel. Reception and bar staff was the same person so needed to wait to check in and then needed to wait to order a drink. Bar was very poorly stocked; no Vodka in stock, ran out of draft beer then ran out of all bottled beer. We had 1 drink before it ran out.
Hotel is situated in a quiet road but only a very short walk to the bustling areas of the city and transport links. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the small side but were well kept and clean with towel changes every day. Good value breakfast
The hotel was just off the main quarter but was in walking distance to bars, shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean but very small. The bar and breakfast was definitely 2 star. The arrogance and attitude of the staff was unacceptable for the travel industry. They spoke to us like we were a lower class of human. We will never stay in the Ibis chain of hotels again as this simply isn’t professional or good enough. We are still waiting our refunds.

Nice place near the city centre very good for Transport and lots of shops and fruit market nearby.Coming back next year
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. My only minor gripe is that the doors were too heavy and for a person with temporary disability, it was difficult to open the room door. Otherwise everything else with the room was excellent.

Basic but does the job
Pretty basic accommodation, looks about two decades old, but does the job. I thought it had on-site parking, but it doesn’t, it’s the tight Q-Park nearby, which they do discount for Ibis. Good breakfast with excellent, fresh Madelines. A short 10-minute walk to town.
This hotel was perfectly adequate for the one night I was looking for. Clean and surprisingly quiet. I had a lovely view from my 5th floor window which was a nice surprise!
The room and the bathroom are as small as people say. It was fine for the 2 nights we were there. Exerting was clean and well kept. If staying more then a couple days, i would choose a different location.
The ibis hotels are always very clean and very practical. There is nothing extravagant but you always have everything you need. The ibis Toulouse centre was clean, quiet, calm and had a great location. It was 5 minutes walking to one of the main pedestrian streets.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.
