Great Shibuya Location

Posted 20-Jul-2017
Pros: Centrally located, near bus/train station, nice, clean, staff, food.
Cons: Softer beds and pillows
Location: Great restaurants and shopping
Great staff, nice, clean rooms, big enough. As soon as we arrive, they checked us in immediately, and they brought me the portable wifi I had ordered, wow, iy was fast- they read our minds. The beds were a little hard, no feather goose downs pillows

Hospitality & Knowledge

Posted 12-Jul-2017
Pros: Porters make a great effort to help me print vouchers.
Cons: Easier TV remote control to choose language of movies and more channels of both English and Mandarin movies.
Location: Convenient 7-11 store on the 2nd level. Walking distance to train station. Many eating house within walking distance.
I feel the reception staffs should express better attitude to make guests feel more welcome. All the porters did a better job than the receptions. Staffs should have more knowledge about the different Limousine Companies, timing, place to board and highlight to guests to avoid taking the wrong ones no doubt guests have their responsibility but with such reminders would help the hotel to score higher points.

Beautiful hotel, but we were disappointed that the pool was only 18+. It would have been nice to have a few hours of family swim.

Outstanding view of the city!!

Posted 10-Jul-2017
Pros: The view, the location, the service all impressive!
Location: Excellent location! A variety of restaurants, shopping, and trains nearby.
First time to Tokyo and the Cerulean Tower made our stay quite enjoyable! We loved our room; the incredible view, the space, and the enormous bed. The location couldn't be beat! Right in the heart of Shibuya with close proximity to the trains. Top notch customer service that was helpful in every way. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Upscale hotel in the middle of Shibuya

Posted 05-Jul-2017
Pros: The one staff at guest services made the whole world of difference, helped us with every aspect of our stay Including restaurant recommendations.
Cons: Pool not open to 10 yr old or older.
Location: Close to Tokyu dept store and free tastings. Close to subway to go anywhere. The scramble of course.
Upscale hotel within 5 min walk to the Shibuya scramble.Great view of Tokyo from our room. While all the desk staff like the check -in and sit down concierge workers are impersonable and extremely uptight, the tall gentleman 大內-San from guest services saved the day. Standing by the concierge desk, he would reach out to tourists/guest when looked lost and helped us get around in the neighborhood. That's Japanese hospitality at it's best, people taking pride in their work. The hotel rooms are all pretty nice, with great views of the city. And I do agree some bath rooms are a bit dark and the carpet does feel a bit dated. It could be tha we were there during rainy season and everything feels muggy. Food at the main lobby is quite good, my 11 year old begs to differ, but prices are high, of course. With the proximity to the heart of Shibuya there is really no need to eat at the hotel unless it is miserable outside or you don't have too much time before your airport bus shows up.

Great hotel in Shibuya.

Posted 05-Jul-2017
Pros: Location (if you want to be in West Tokyo / Shibuya area), value, comfort, attentiveness.
Cons: Too rigid with fitness facilities rules - large daily charge that they wouldn't waive even for a quick workout, no kids under 18 allowed, etc.
Location: Shibuya is full of action, shopping, more shopping & more shopping. Good train access (not as great as other train stations but enough), & good eats.
Met all expectations and price was far below the quality of the service and comfort of the facilities.
