Staff were friendly and very helpful, location is great close to seibu making it easy to navigate. But hotel is pretty old and bed is very uncomfortable.

The beds were a little bit stiff, but the property was great, the staff were wonderful and there was great shopping around the area. The shower in the bathroom was nice.

Pros: Close to Ikebukuro Station and less than 10 minute walk to Sunshine City, helpfulness of staff, free afternoon treats like macaroons, etc. Cons: Single room is pretty cramped. The only way to cool the room was not turn on the heat.

A good hotel in an ideal location, just a few minutes walk to the nearest train station that can get you into the heart of Tokyo in 15 minutes. Also, there are a million dining options nearby for food! The bed was VERY firm, probably a bit too firm for us, but that was the only gripe.

This hotel is very easy to get train at Ikebukuro Train Station and easy to walk around for shopping and dinning. All staffs are very good in English and very kinds but the room is a bit dusty. Reasonable price with this Ikebukuro area.

Convenient location
Good location, close to train station and shopping area. Friendly crew and very tasty breakfast. Room is very cozy and you would need to open the luggage on the bed. Bathroom is very small for turning around. A good place for short stay and sleeping.

Hotel with breakfast and its good. Near to Ikebukuro station and shopping malls. However, it can be quite noisy if stay at low floor since it's just next to the road.

Convenient location right next to the Ikebukuro JR Station. Nice little hotel. Room size is on the tighter side. Awesome breakfast buffet.

The room itself was ok. Staff were pretty nice too. But I stayed 5 nights (out of which 4 nights book via official website). The room has a high pitch but weak humming noise for 3 nights. First n last night don’t have. Which I wasn’t sure until the last night when the noise is gone. It’s very annoying when you stay up till very late and there is no other sound in the room. Then the shower was perfect first two night. High pressure rain shower and steamy hot water. On 3rd night (Fri) it became weak and drippy also not hot enough. 4th night (Sat), when I was ready to go shower… there was actually no water came out from either the rain shower or handheld shower head. After struggling for 8-10mins and I was ready to go down to get help at 23:30. Water came back through (not very good pressure still). Last night (Sun) water is no problem but it was totally cold water. I let it run for 10mins still cold water. And when I was about to get dress and go down to get help AGAIN!! Luke warm water start coming through. And I decided I just need to quickly shower and get it over and done with. So the last few nights… I always afraid that no water or hot water runs out in the middle during my shower.

Everything is great except for the air conditioning. I was unable to adjust the temperature as the hotel is using centralised air con.

The room is too small for 3 people. It's actually a room for two people. The hotel just added a bed near the window and moved the chair and small table outside the bathroom, which made it hard for us to get into the room. There is also no room to open the three suitcases.
